Spirit of the Tea Kettle
Inside every kettle there lives a spirit - one who rattles the lid and sometimes whistles when the water is ready - this one is curious about the world outside the kettle..
Turn the handle front to back in a clockwise direction to make her go up and down - if you turn the handle back to front in an anti-clockwise direction she will also give a quick glance sideways at the same time. The 'steam' cloud made from golden pliable wire is detachable so that the kettle can be seen boiling or not.
Constructed from turned wood, laser cut poplar ply and wire.
