By purchasing this piece, you will be donating directly to a family in Gaza - a mother who finds herself caring for her elderly parents as well as her children. She often asks me to share her GoFundMe but I would also like to raise some funds for a donation to her also.

This mini wood girl is enjoying her life as a watermelon, and standing in solidarity with the people of Palestine. I have been pro-Palestine since learning about the Nakba at school at the age of 14, right before the first Intifada.

The total height is approximately 11cm.

My pieces are painted in a naïve and simple style, with visible brush strokes and differing paint consistencies. It is important to note that these dolls are made from real wood which will have naturally occurring markings and grain, and sometimes there will be small amount of bleeding along the grain, which is to be expected when using untreated wood - please make sure you consult the pictures carefully before purchasing. Finished in a top coat of matt acrylic.
