Dragon in the Clouds

My first foray into the world of moving wooden objects - inspired by my love of automata as a child.

Here is a red dragon who undulates in flight above rolling painted clouds, with a cloud spinning above him.

Constructed from turned wood, laser cut poplar ply and wire. The piece will come with the dragon parts and twirling cloud separate for safer transit - just pop each piece carefully into the holes on the base unit, as per the diagram sent with the piece.

SAFETY INFORMATION: NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 9.

IMPORTANT: Should be kept out of direct sunlight and away from water/ humid environments. As with all mechanical things, even the simplest ones, it is important to know that after a period of time they may dry out, seize up or become unstuck. A little candle wax on the base of each 'dragon body' stick every now and then may help keep the dragon flying for longer.
